PROJECTS IN RUSSIA

In Russia, one wind and three hydro projects are in progress. Pre-feasibility studies were conducted by Garrad Hassan and Partners (UK) and Center of Engineering UES (Russia). Wind monitoring at the Yeisk (50MW) site started in December 10, 2007 and the construction is expected to begin early 2009. Concept projects and feasibility studies for the Krasnopolyansk HPP - 2 project (30 MW) were commissioned from the local Russian engineering companies. The start of construction of Krasnopolyansk HPP-2 is planned for early 2009.
